Greater Manchester Police Utilise MultiQuote System for E-Tender

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has recently undertaken a full OJEU tender for the supply of Natural Gas to 94 Police sites in and around Greater Manchester.
As part of their tender process, GMP decided to take advantage of the MultiQuote system and some of the benefits it offers. MultiQuote was used as the forum for distributing the invitations to tender (ITT) and for receiving electronic locked bids by return.
Jude Leadbeater, Assistant Director Procurement commented “The MulitiQuote facility performed well, saved resources in the tender process and was ideal for receiving electronic bids which were only open for acceptance for 3 hours due to the volatility of the Energy market. We hope to extend the use of MultiQuote for e-tendering other GMP opportunities”.

Airedale NHS Trust ‘Roll Out’ MultiQuote’s New eRequisitioning system

Airedale NHS Trust and Bradford District Care PCT have recently introduced the new ‘MultiQuote Remote’ E-Requisitioning system to their purchasing departments.
Graham Beck, Head of Purchasing & Supplies, noted “The system has proved a positive step in the direction of a paperless, more streamlined process. With full budgetary control and a feed into MultiQuote itself, this is helping us to make great savings on the products we buy and the time from requisition to purchase order is a fraction of the time on the paper system. MultiQuote reaches £175m in Quotation value

MultiQuote are pleased to announce a significant milestone in their battle to save the NHS money. MultiQuote, the pricing and sourcing Internet Web Service, has passed the £175,000,000 milestone in quotation value for Public Sector Organisations. This includes £1,000,000 Information & Technology enquiries for the NHS Hampshire & Isle of Wight Supplies Confederation.

MultiQuote launch eRequisitioning

MultiQuote have launched their new NHS bespoke eRequistioning system at Airedale NHS Trust in Keighley, West Yorks. Partly developed with South Manchester University and Manchester Childrens Hospital Trust, MultiQuote Remote will provide a paperless requisition facility for the Supplies team and end users from several remote sites around the Airedale Hospital Trust.
The new system links directly into MultiQuote and will allow the buyers to manually process the requistion or send via MultiQuote's unique RFQ pathway. The new system will speed-up the process of getting goods into remote locations and have a positive impact on patient care.
